We have identified an issue with ICMP polling in our Solarwinds environment. The issue appears to be with our cloud vendor Microsoft Azure. We are currently working with them to resolve the issue.
UPDATE 05/02/2022 2:02 PST: We are still working with our vendor. We have identified that only a small subset of nodes are affected. Majority of nodes are polling fine.
UPDATE: 05/03/2022 7:00 AM PST: Azure support applied a fix around 2am PST this morning that resolved the ICMP false down issue. Unfortunately, the fix caused a side issue that has made our public portal inaccessible. We are working with Azure support to resolve that issue now.
RESOLVED: As of 8:00 AM PST on 05/03 all issues were resolved.
